Who am I?

My name is Koen Christiaan van der Knaap. I’m a commercial pilot and a photography enthusiast.

I’m incredibly lucky to get to see and experience amazing sights and places all over the world as part of my job. It’s the perfect excuse to always bring my camera with me on my journeys. I love capturing incredible scenes and sharing memories with my crew, friends, and family.

The photos you’ll see on this webpage are mostly from my work trips over the past two years of my flying career.
